Forgotten Rainforest

Just before the AI boom, when we returned home to Vancouver from Calgary, we stumbled into a forgotten rainforest at Golden Ears Provincial Park. What we found there felt ancient and alive — moss-draped trees twisted into creatures from another age. Faces, bodies, gestures formed by nature herself. No Photoshop, no tricks. Just the forest revealing its sculptures to anyone patient enough to look.

These iPhone photographs capture that encounter — a study in wonder, decay, and imagination. If you find your own woodland beings in BC, share them with #pastbeyond, #woodlandcreatures, #loveforbc, and #hellobc.
